    Christopher Meyers is the Principal Architect and founding owner of Meyers + Associates Architecture. Chris has based his architectural practice on a focused approach to client service. He provides excellence in attention to detail, responsive services, and thoroughness of project reviews. Being an active member of the community, he seeks opportunities to design buildings that bring about positive development of the community and have a delicate impact on our environment. Chris has received numerous awards for design, business, and community service.

    Molly is an Interior Design Associate with our firm who obtained her bachelor degree from Bowling Green State University where she also minored in marketing.  With a precise approach and her strong sense of design, Molly is a great asset when working as a team member on projects which have included hospitality, retail and corporate endeavors.  In 2009, Molly was the winner of the Meyers + Associates Travel Award, where she traveled to Copenhagen to study the Danish craft and execution in creating an integrated design experience.  Molly also serves as the Columbus City Center Director for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

    Shawn is a Senior Associate whose expertise in hospitality, sports & recreation, adaptive re-use, and renovations shows in his impressive portfolio of projects.  Upon completion of his master's degree from The Ohio State University, Shawn obtained his architecture license in 2004 from the State of Ohio and belongs to the AIA, NCARB, the OSU Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture Alumni Society Board, and The Ohio State University Alumni Association.  While in school, Shawn was a 4-year Varsity Letter winner for Ohio State University's Varsity Wrestling Team and he also qualified and competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials for wrestling.  He currently stays involved in the sport through mentoring and coaching.

    Karen is a Senior Associate and lead interior designer for our firm with over 10 years of experience in commercial design and planning.  While working at Meyers + Associates, Karen has participated on several LEED certified projects and has developed her design aesthetic with an environmentally conscious awareness.  As past Director and current Treasurer for the Columbus Chapter of IIDA, Karen also enjoys using her profession to help influence others and network within the community.

    As a returning member of the Meyers + Associates team, Michael rejoined the firm this spring upon returning to Columbus from Philadelphia, where he obtained his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  His experience includes a variety of project types including multi-family, corporate campus work, higher education, and renovations.  He has had the opportunity to participate in all phases of the design process from schematics through construction administration.  Outside of the office, Michael is involved professionally in both the AIA and the Urban Land Institute (ULI.)  His spare time finds him outdoors, where he enjoys both golfing and backpacking.

    Born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, Kara joined our firm shortly after graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from The Ohio State University in 2006.  She has a proven track record of being incredibly diligent and detail oriented, making her an important participant in many of our fast-paced projects.  Her recent involvement has included the award-winning EPIC Hollister Flagship and our ongoing hospitality endeavors.  An avid traveler, Kara won the Meyers + Associates 2008 Travel Award with a proposal to study effective civic architecture and development in Seattle.  Outside of the office, Kara has served as past Chair for the AIA Columbus Emerging Professionals Committee and volunteers in a variety of capacities.

    Bob Hatfield is a Senior Associate and Architect for our firm with extensive experience in numerous building types.  Bob leads the project specification and scheduling components of most projects through a collaborative process involving all parties.  Bob has participated on significant architectural projects including corporate office, industrial & manufacturing, hospitals, academic & educational environments, hospitality, health & wellness, and residential.  His exceptional leadership takes even the largest project challenges and makes them understandable and attainable.

    Cheryl originally hails from Ipswich, England where she held a variety of administrative assistant related positions throughout her career there.  Her upbeat, warm personality and love of meeting new people enables her to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors to our office.  Her various hobbies including Reiki, reading, knitting and cross-stitch means she always has several projects on the go, and the office especially likes it when we benefit from her love of baking!  In recent years, Cheryl's family has grown with the addition of two new grandchildren, whom she adores being "Nanna" to.

    Brian is an Associate with our firm and holds a degree in Construction Management from Columbus State University. Brian possesses a strong understanding of what goes into building a project and has participated in a variety of project types including corporate offices, renovations, retail and multi-family residences.  Brian's technical abilities, attention to detail  and committment to perfection continues to benefit every project he works on.  He currently leads in our estimating team and heads up our office drawing standards.  Outside of the office, Brian sits on the Board of Directors of the Columbus Chapter of CSI and participates on the Student Affiliate Committee.

    Nick Munoz is an associate architecture design team member with Meyers + Associates and is involved in all phases of the design process.  While earning his Master of Architecture degree from The Ohio State University, Nick extensively developed his understanding of the relationship between architecture and digital media. As a Graduate Teaching Associate, Nick focused on digital modeling, rapid prototyping and digital presentation techniques.  Nick brings this well balanced skill set to all the projects he works on.

    As a Senior Associate, Peter offers a well-balanced skill set of design, technical ability and construction knowledge which have allowed him to successfully manage projects in parks and recreation, sports and recreation, student housing, health & wellness, retail and multi-family housing.  In addition to project management, Pete is involved in many aspects of the operations of the firm from project design to business development.  Pete is a member of CSI where he currently is a Columbus Chapter 2nd Vice President as well as the Design Editor of its monthly newsletter, "The Comment". Pete also writes a design commentary which is published in multiple publications throughout the country.  In 2011, he was recognized with a Commendation for his work as the Editor of the local CSI chapter's newsletter.  Pete has been a repeat guest speaker at VMSD's International Retail Design Conference, speaking on the utilization of computer technology as a design tool within the architectural design process.
